Josie RavenWing, internationally acclaimed author, workshop presenter and healing facilitator, welcomes you to Healing Journeys, a web site containing wonderful resources for personal and spiritual development and for healing.

Josie’s mission is – and always has been – to offer the best of what she has learned to assist others in their journey  - whether in person, through her books and music, or through referrals  to others with expertise in their fields. 

In regards to healing, although Josie is trained in many modalities, she feels that at the core, it is love and our connection to love that heals – whether we call that power self-love, the Divine, Source, or by any other name.

The place where she most profoundly encountered this essential truth was at John of God’s healing center in Brazil.  In 1998 she became one of the first non-Brazilians to visit this center - the Casa de Dom Inacio - and at John of God’s request, to begin bringing people from outside of Brazil who are wishing to travel to the Casa. 

Because of the depth of her experience during her initial visit to the Casa, she was enthused to begin this part of her “mission,” and became the first North American guide to the Casa, now taking people there from all over the world.  At John of God’s request, she also accompanies him on the rare occasions when he works outside of Brazil, to assist in the healing work at these events.

John of God (Joao de Deus, or birth name Joao Texeira da Faria) is a medium, or vessel, of spiritual healing.  Many have said that he has performed miracles of healing, but John of God always says, “I have never healed anyone – it is God who heals.” 

Josie invites you to explore her site, to look at the information on the healing journeys to John of God/Brazil and  the articles about him, as well as learning about other sacred journeys and the work that she herself offers through individual healing sessions and spiritual workshops.
